How to refer a student for review by the Consultation & Response Team
Members of the campus community can refer a student to the Consultation & Response Team by contacting a Student Care Manager. Karen Minero can be reached by calling 310-825-0628 and Mark Veldkamp can be reached at 310-825-7291 (Mark can provide support and advocacy for survivors of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence and stalking as well).
You can reach both Student Care Managers by emailing CRTeam@ucla.edu. However, keep in mind that the Student Care Managers do not maintain 24 hour access to email and phone.

The CR Team is available to assist with a student in distress or in crisis. You do not need to struggle with a difficult situation alone. A referral to the CR Team would be warranted in situations where there are multiple concerns that may require a coordinated response from multiple campus departments such as; the Office of the Dean of Students, Counseling and Psychological Services and the UCLA Police Department.
